Beautifully Appointed Guest house containing 4 Holiday Suites: Studio, 1 & 2 Bedrooms

Situated in Southsea, our beautiful Victorian guesthouse offers four upmarket boutique suites.

89 St Ronans has been a fully functioning guest house since 1972, we purchased the building in 2017 and have brought it back to its former glory via a full scale renovation of the entire building throughout 2017 and early 2018.  We have put great care, attention to detail and passion into the renovation to try to deliver what we feel those staying in a modern guesthouse really want in order to have an enjoyable stay.  We believe our accommodation fills a gap within the market having all the comforts of a modern boutique hotel (inc. reception area, shared kids and lounge area, check in on arrival, communal laundry facilities, luggage storage facilities, free WiFi, flat screen TV, hotel standard beds and quality furnishings) whilst also including some modest self-catering facilities.

The whole guesthouse or multiple suites are available for large groups.

We also provide continental breakfast on request at a cost of £12.

Our guesthouse has an excellent location, being in close proximity to Southsea seafront promenade and beach as well as being just off the well known Albert Road.

To celebrate the history of Portsmouth each suite has been named and designed after its well-known residents. Among those honoured are the creator of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, acclaimed writer and poet, Rudyard Kipling, the comedian Peter Sellers and the world famous author Charles Dickens. Our 2 bedroom suites are perfect for families, the 1 bedroom deluxe suite and our deluxe studio are best suited for couples or business guest.

Accudo House is managed by our wonderful team which includes Igor, Claire, Belle and Lou. It is likely that you will liaise with Belle throughout the booking experience and also be met by her on arrival in our reception area as well as her being your main point of contact throughout your stay. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile to make your stay as wonderful as possible and I'm sure you will see from our reviews that our guests are always impressed by our approach.

Situated 15 minutes walk from the glorious Southsea seafront and 5 minutes to the vibrant Albert Road with an array of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops as well as the Edwardian Kings Theatre built in 1907. The Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf Quay (Outlet shopping with bars and restaurants) is 10 minutes away by car or taxi or alternatively there is a bus stop just a few minutes from the building. In near proximity you can also find The Pyramids Centre Swimming Pool and Gym , skate park, D –day Museum and Southsea Castle.
